Drone attack on Ukrainian bus from Russia - 9 killed

A Russian drone strike on a bus in northeastern Ukraine has killed nine people and injured nearly seven others, foreign media reported.

The bus was traveling to the regional capital, close to the Russian border, when it was hit.

Foreign media reports said the attack came hours after Russia and Ukraine held their first direct peace talks in three years.

However, Russia has not yet commented on the attack, and the Ukrainian president has said that the attack was carried out to deliberately kill civilians.

The injured in the attack have been admitted to a hospital in the regional capital, Sumy, and three of them are in critical condition, Ukrainian media reported.
