A curfew has been imposed in Los Angeles, USA.
The mayor of Los Angeles announced that the measure was taken to stop vandalism and looting.
The curfew will be in effect from 8:00 p.m. US time until 6:00 a.m. the next morning.
She warned that anyone who violates the curfew will be detained.
The mayor decided to declare a state of emergency for Los Angeles after 23 businesses were looted last Monday night.
On Tuesday alone, 197 arrests were made by the military.
